On Saturday March 28, the first global election will happen. It's a battle between Earth and global warming. Each of us can support our planet by voting for Earth. How? Simply turn off your lights at exactly 8:30pm-9:30pm at each of your OWN local time on March 28.

2,398 cities, towns and municipalities in 83 countries have already committed to VOTE EARTH for Earth Hour 2009, as part of the worlds first global election between Earth and global warming.

The results of the election are being presented at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009. We want one billion votes for Earth, to tell world leaders that we have to take action against global warming.
