The Cathedral at Sacrifice Valley, Hermosa Bataan

The Apostolic Catholic Church is a self-governing Church which traces its Faith and Worship from the Eastern Rite and the Western Rite.

Our church is a full Church member of the National Council of Churches in the Philippines (NCCP), an association of Christian Churches, which objective is Ecumenism.

It is a Church which values proper attire for both men and women. Especially in the Sacrifice of Mass where women are obliged to wear veils and descent attires. Making it known for its members' discipline and piety. A Church that promotes the partaking of both the bread and wine in the Sacrament of Communion. A practice that originated from the apostolic teachings of the early Church.

CHARISM OF THE APOSTOLIC CATHOLIC CHURCH

Perpetual devotion to the Blessed Sacrament.

The members of the Apostolic Catholic Church (ACC) would make a 24-hour adoration to the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar in every parishes.

Active Apostolate.

The Apostolic Catholic Church is also engaged in active apostolate, in terms of Divine healing, medical and dental missions in different depressed areas in the country. The Church also participates in distributing relief and other essential goods, as exemplified by the Poor Children of Santa Maria Virginia Foundation.

Teaching.

The Apostolic Catholic Church values the role of Education and its contribution to the People of God. Therefore, the Apostolic Catholic Church has founded and managed schools, which are managed by both the religious and lay members: The College of the Most Holy Trinity (CMHT) and Colegio de Sta. Maria Virginia Leonzon. The schools consist of pre-elementary, primary, secondary and tertiary levels. The foremost objective of the school is to promote quality education even to the less privileged and poor students. Half of the school's students are personal scholars of the Patriarch, who happens to be the Dean of the College of the Most Holy Trinity (CMHT), and President of the Colegio de Sta. Maria Virginia Leonzon.

The Love of Nature and Ecology.

The Apostolic Catholic Church also patronizes its love for nature and ecology, by its "Adopt a Mountain Project". The Church has adopted some areas in the country for its tree planting drives. Like its 100 hectares of land in Sitio Tapia, Antipolo City, which will be inhabited by church members and allocated for pro-environment and ecological projects. Likewise, in its 600 hectares of land in Tabogon, Cebu and 500 hectares in Palawan

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CHURCH

  • One. There is only One Church that our Beloved Ingkong founded through our Patriarch, His Holiness John Florentine L. Teruel, P.P. and through our Matriarch, St. Maria Virginia, and that is the APOSTOLIC CATHOLIC CHURCH.
  • Holy. The Church is Holy; because our Beloved Ingkong, God, the Holy Spirit, is all holy.
  • Apostolic. The Church is Apostolic because our Beloved Ingkong manifests in this Last Day to establish His Kingdom, the New Jerusalem; and to sanctify it through the last drop of His Precious Blood that shed on the Holy Cross; and the great commission received from Him by our Patriarch, His John Florentine L. Teruel, P.P. He received 26 Apostolic Lines of Succession when he was consecrated as a Full-Pledged Bishop.

The Church, through its Patriarch, received its Valid Order and Right of Apostolic Line of Succession which makes it directly a part and one with the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church founded by Our Lord, Jesus Christ, through His Apostles.

  • Catholic. It is a Catholic Church, because the Good News about the manifestation of our Beloved Ingkong here in the Philippines, is widely spread throughout the nations who received Him as the Paraclete. The members of the Church who were composed of different races or nationalities, mostly Filipinos, are still growing through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and establish communities or churches internationally.
  • Ecumenical. It is an Ecumenical Church, because our Beloved Ingkong is the Great-grandfather of all mankind. It is not only because the Church is a full-pledged member of National Council of Churches in the Philippines (NCCP), but also it respects all faithful Christians and Non-Christians from different religions.

The Church promotes Catholic Ecumenism that accepts and prays for the unity of the Orthodox Catholic Church (OCC) and the Roman Catholic Church (RCC); and protects the Church’s Tradition, with desire to maintain full inter-communion with the Major and Minor Patriarchates of various Apostolic traditions, including Jerusalem, Antioch, Alexandria, Constantinople, Rome, Greece, Moscow and etc.

  • Marian. It is a Marian Church, because our Beloved Ingkong always insists all should pray the Holy Rosary and honor our Blessed Mother Mary as our Mediatrix to Him. The Patroness of the Church is the Miraculous Lady of the Filipinos, Ina Poon Bato.
  • Ecologically Concerned. The Church has an ecological concern because God, the Father Yahweh created it, God, the Son Jesus lived in it, and God, the Holy Spirit, Beloved Ingkong steps on it.
